Bai Ji Guan ็ฝ้ๅ , from Mandarin "White Cockscomb" ๐, is a rare dark wulong tea (oolong), the first tea from ho yum tea that comes from the heart of the Wuyi Shan mountain range, a piece of land known as Full Rock Tea ๆญฃๅฒฉ, considered the most prestigious in the tea world!
ย
Original rock tea from the Yinping summit of Xing village, grows on yellow rocky soil rich in minerals. The leaves were harvested in the traditional method in a narrow timeframe - immediately after xiao man ๅฐๆปฟ and before the rainy season starts.
ย
Small and soft leaves which undergoes a moderate-level of oxidation and light baking of 30 hours only, at a temperature of 90ยฐc degrees.
ย
An antithesis to the popular modern wulong, this relatively "green" yan cha has a look and profile reminiscent of Sheng Pu'er. A thick yellowish drink with an unfiltered appearance. First infusions provide fresh and mineral profile, which gradually becomes thicker and fuller with later infusions.
ย
A well balanced tea with Yang tendency, complex woody-fruity finish and a drink that varies infinitely between infusions. Recommended for drinking in the first part of the day throughout the year.
ย
Package contains separately packed portions in a dedicated aluminum bag to maintain the freshness and wholeness of the leaves.
ย
Festive tea for advanced drinkers, substituting Rou Gui 2020 as the highest grading out of all our Fujian Wulongs for 2022. Prestigious grade of tea under the radar in a very limited edition. One of the best teas we've ever tried.
