Well aged tea cake originated in the prestigious Meng Ku area in western Yunnan, on the border with Burma. Old trees at least 60 years old (lao shu 老樹). Rare quality tea that has fermented naturally for over 16 years and reached exceptional complexity.

 

Full body, very smooth drink with dominant flavors of dried fruit and long sweet aftertaste. A dark drink with a reddish-orange hue.

 

Well balanced and powerful tea recommended for drinking in the first part of the day, all year round. Its qualities lay between raw and ripe pu'er, between yin and yang.

 

Vintage tea in limited edition of several units only. The tea comes packaged in a fancy hard box.

  • Instructions

    Carve using a pu'er needle a portion of 5.5g tea leaves

     

    Infuse in boiling water at 100°c for 5-10 sec in a traditional infusion pot (120-200 ml) or press pot, for 7-10 times

     

    It is not recommended to infuse this tea in a larger pot

     

    Each portion suits infusion of up to 1.5L of tea in total

    Long shelf life, the aged the better. Suitable for aging by storing in its original package, in a shady and dry place with neutral odor. Avoid storage alongside spices, perfumes and other types of tea.
