ho yum tea's Blind Tasting Club (BTC) is a pioneering concept established in 2021; first of its kind in the industry. The official selection of World Tea Magazine for the World's Best Tea Subscription for 2024.
We gather virtually 3 times a year with a new mysterious seasonal tea flight (sampler). Each flight contains 5 types of tea, approximately 15-20g each, adding up to a total of 80-90g of mostly rare and lesser-known tea types we source by ourselves. We curate each sampler with a theme especially for the club, in which we can look through and learn something new about the tea industry.
The identity of the 5 teas will be revealed live in the next club gathering via Google Meet, where we will discuss each tea together and tell its unique story. The meeting will be held in English with clubbers around the world. The club tea samplers will be sent to you several weeks in advance before the zoom session, accompanied by tasting notes pages to document your tasting.
